An introductioin to

MDA for Enterprise Collaboration

using web services and Component-X

Format: 1/2 Day Presentation and Demonstration

AudienceArchitects, Systems Developers, Technology Officers and Project Managers

Prerequisites
This course assumes the student has:

  • A basic understanding of systems architecture

Course Description

This course will provide the student with an understanding of Model-Driven Architecture with relevant standards and tools.  The OMG standard Enterprise Collaboration Architecture ((ECA) will be used as a basis for modeling collaboration, business processes and integration. 

Using Component-X™ the student willsee how to design a collaborative business process that will create and use web services to achieve an open, distributed environment. While web services will be used, a detailed understanding of web services is not required due to the use of MDA automation.

At the end of the curse, students will have a better understanding of MDA and collaborative business processes.

Various exercises will be used during the course.   In-house courses may utilize examples derived from the companies own business processes and requirements.
