Course Description This course will provide the student with an understanding of Model-Driven Architecture with relevant standards and tools. The OMG standard Enterprise Collaboration Architecture ((ECA) will be used as a basis for modeling collaboration, business processes and integration. Using Component-X the student willsee how to design a collaborative business process that will create and use web services to achieve an open, distributed environment. While web services will be used, a detailed understanding of web services is not required due to the use of MDA automation. At the end of the curse, students will have a better understanding of MDA and collaborative business processes. Various exercises will be used during the course. In-house courses may utilize examples derived from the companies own business processes and requirements. Course Outline
